Blockratize Inc., operating as Polymarket, has taken a significant step toward launching its native token by filing trademark applications for "POLY" and "$POLY" with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The filings, submitted on February 4 and now active for review, cover a range of crypto-related services including digital token transactions and electronic trading platforms.

The MOVE aligns with months of public discussion by Polymarket executives about introducing a POLY token. Marketing chief Matthew Modabber hinted at a future airdrop to users in October, while founder Shayne Coplan has consistently emphasized the token's role in the platform's expansion. Though technical details remain undisclosed, the filings signal concrete progress in Polymarket's ecosystem development.
